Aquasport 205 Osprey Bay

Aquasport 205 Osprey Bay

Aquasport has introduced a bay boat in its Osprey line of center consoles. The 205 Osprey Bay has 19 degrees of transom deadrise and a 15-inch draft with its outboard engine up (31 inches with engine down).

The 20-foot, 4-inch boat sports a flared bow and a sheer line that sweeps down toward the transom. It has an 8-foot, 7-inch beam, and a full-width aft platform that contains three removable storage boxes. It also has rod storage under the port and starboard gunwales, two three-drawer tackle boxes, a 100-quart lighted and insulated live well with raw water pump and overboard drain, an insulated fishbox with drain, and more storage in the forward casting platform.

In addition to four stainless steel rod holders in the gunwales, the 205 has six rod holders in the center console. Forward of the console is a cushioned seat and backrest; the reversible helm seat sits atop a 76-quart cooler.

The console has full instrumentation, compass, Plexiglas windshield, stainless steel tilt steering wheel, footrest and stainless steel grab rails. There also are stainless steel forward grab rails and a stainless steel swim ladder.

A T-top or a Bimini are options.

Aquasport offers its transferable 10-year structural warranty on the foam-filled fiberglass hull. The builder uses diamond-patterned non-skid in the 205’s fiberglass cockpit. It also has a high-density composite transom, high-impact rubrail, and a raw-water washdown.

A variety of Johnson, Evinrude, Mercury and Yamaha outboard options from 115 hp to 200 hp are available. The 205 Osprey Bay starts at around $22,000 prerigged without power.
