Lobstermen struggle to maintain vocation

On the good days, a cool breeze rising off Long Island Sound, the steel traps on the dock stacked and baited with thick chunks of skate, there aren't many things better than being one of the last full-time lobstermen left in Connecticut.

It's likely that in the coming months, this man whose great-grandfather began fishing here after arriving from Portugal, will find out whether lobstering in the Long Island Sound and beyond has a future.
