REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has updated the following nautical charts:

• chart 12206, 31st ed. — Norfolk to Albemarle Sound;

• chart 12245, 64th ed. — Hampton Roads;

• chart 11536, 17th ed. — Approaches to Cape Fear River.

The new editions are available through NOAA sales agents. A free list of authorized sales agents is available by contacting the National Ocean Service, Distribution Division (N/ACC3), 6501 Lafayette Ave., Riverdale, Md. 20737.

CHESTER RIVER, MD.

Maryland Department of Natural Resources Tidewater Ecosystem Assessment, D-2, has re-established Blunts Bar Oyster Sanctuary light until Nov. 15 in association with the deployment of their vertical profiling water quality monitor in the area of Blunts Bar Oyster Sanctuary in the Chester River. Blunts Bar Oyster Sanctuary light A in position 38 59 34.7N, 076 11 46.2W, shows a flashing white 4 seconds light. The buoy is white with blue band. Chart: 12272

PATUXENT RIVER, MD.

The Southern Maryland Sailing Association has established seven race marker buoys until Dec. 1:

• SMSA Race Mark D 38 18 59N, 76 22 22W, yellow buoy with radar reflector,

• SMSA Race Mark E 38 20 07N, 76 23 12W, yellow buoy with radar reflector,

• SMSA Race Mark L 38 18 18N, 76 27 42W, yellow buoy,

• SMSA Race Mark N 38 18 45N, 76 27 12W, yellow buoy,

• SMSA Race Mark T 38 19 03N, 76 26 03W, yellow buoy,

• SMSA Race Mark U 38 18 48N, 76 28 18W, yellow buoy,

• SMSA Race Mark V 38 17 54N, 76 25 54W, yellow buoy.

CAPE FEAR RIVER,

WILMINGTON HARBOR, N.C.

Great Lakes clamshell dredge No. 54 will be dredging in Wilmington Harbor in Upper Midnight North and South Ranges and Lower Brunswick South Range through April 1, 2006. The dredge can be contacted on VHF channels 13 and 16. Mariners are requested to stay clear of the dredge, floating and submerged pipeline, buoys and wires, and requested to exercise extreme caution and cause no wake when approaching, passing and leaving the dredge location. Mariners should also watch for indications of a submerged or partially submerged pipeline.(NOAA chart 11537)

The following changes were scheduled to be made in May:

• establish Rockhold Creek channel buoy 4 (LL 19401),

• establish Rockhold Creek channel buoy 5 (LL 19402),

• establish Rockhold Creek channel buoy 6 (LL 19403),

• establish Rockhold Creek channel buoy 7 (LL 19404),

• renumber Rockhold Creek channel daybeacon 3 to 9 (LL 19405),

• renumber Rockhold Creek channel daybeacon 4 to 10 (LL 19407),

• renumber Rockhold Creek channel light 6 to 12 (LL 19410),

• renumber Rockhold Creek channel light 7 to 13 (LL 19415),

• renumber Rockhold Creek channel daybeacon 9 to 15 (LL 19407).
