REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has updated the following nautical charts:

• chart 11416, ninth ed. — TampaBay, SafetyHarbor, St. Petersburg, Tampa;

• chart 11485, 35th ed. — Intracoastal Waterway, TolmatoRiver to PalmShores.

The new editions are available through NOAA sales agents. A free list of authorized sales agents is available by contacting the National Ocean Service, Distribution Division (N/ACC3), 6501 Lafayette Ave., Riverdale, Md.20737.

ST.CATHERINESSOUND, GA.

The following changes were scheduled to be made to the aids to navigation system in September:

• St.CatherinesSound lighted buoy 2 (LL 5795) will be relocated to approximate position 31 40 21.800N, 081 03 31.300W, displaying published characteristic;

• St.CatherinesSound buoy 3 (LL 5800) will be relocated to approximate position 31 40 12.200N, 081 03 41.200W, and renumbered to buoy 1;

• St.CatherinesSound buoy 5 (LL 5805) will be renumbered to buoy 3;

• St.CatherinesSound lighted buoy 7 (LL 5810) will be relocated to approximate position 31 41 58.900N, 081 05 15.000W, and renumbered to lighted buoy 5, displaying published characteristic;

• St.CatherinesSound buoy 9 (LL 5820) will be relocated to approximate position 31 42 41.200N, 081 08 17.300W, and renumbered to buoy 7.

OKEECHOBEE WATERWAY,

ST. LUCIE RIVER TO

CALOOSAHATCHEE RIVER, FLA.

Due to extremely restricted channel depths in Lake Okeechobee, mariners are strongly advised that the following should be taken into consideration whether transiting the lake or stopping for recreational activities such as fishing.

Route 1: Lake elevations have been averaging 9.10 feet and below.

Route 2: (the RimCanal) is closed with navigation depths of 0.44 feet and less.

PALMSHORES TO

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has reported that Banty Saunders Recreation Area daybeacon 19 (LL 9925)(Private Aid) with two regulatory markers (Idle Speed No Wake and Resume Normal Safe Operation) has been damaged and broken off below the waterline. The charted position for this aid is 27 28 27.900N, 080 19 17.880W. All mariners are urged to be on the lookout and transit this area with caution. (NOAA chart 11475)

SAVANNAHRIVERAND

WASSAW SOUND, GA.

The U.S. Coast Guard has advised that a work barge and gangway have been positioned on the north side of the Savannah River and immediately up river of the Convention Center. Flashing amber lights have been placed on the corners of the barge and gangway. All mariners are requested to transit the area with a slow safe speed and caution while in the vicinity of the work barge and gangway. (NOAA chart 11512)

PALM SHORES, FLA.

Shoaling has been reported in the vicinity of San SebastianRiver daybeacon 13A (LL 39153). All mariners are advised to transit the area with caution. (NOAA chart 11485)
