REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has updated the following nautical charts:

• chart 12358, 20th ed. - New York, Long Island, Shelter Island Sound and PeconicBays; Mattituck Inlet

• chart 12327, 101st ed. - New YorkHarbor

The new editions are available through NOAA sales agents. A free list of authorized sales agents is available by contacting the National Ocean Service, Distribution Division (N/ACC3), 6501 Lafayette Ave., Riverdale, Md.20737.

RARITAN RIVER, N.J.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to this waterway in April:

• change Raritan River Channel lighted buoy 6 (LL 36445) nominal range to 3 nm

• change Raritan River Channel lighted buoy 15 (LL 36490) nominal range to 3 nm

• change Raritan River Channel lighted buoy 17 (LL 36495) nominal range to 3 nm

All aids will be equipped with new LED lanterns.

NEW YORKHARBOR, KILL VAN KULL, N.Y. and N.J.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following improvements to this waterway. All lighted aids will be equipped with Carmanah 700 series LED’s.

• lighted buoy 9 (LL 37285) to 3 nm

• lighted buoy 9A (LL 37286) to 3 nm and rename to 11

• lighted buoy 10 (LL 37300) to 3 nm

• lighted buoy 11 (LL 37305) to 3 nm and rename to 13

• lighted buoy 12 (LL 37310) to 3 nm

• lighted buoy 12A (LL 37315) to 3 nm and rename to 14

• lighted buoy 13 (LL 37320) to 3 nm and rename to 15

• lighted buoy 14 (LL 37325) to 3 nm and rename to 16

• junction lighted buoy E (LL 37327) to 3 nm

• lighted buoy 15 (LL 37330) disestablish

• lighted buoy 15A (LL 37325) to 3 nm rename to 17 and relocate 60 yards east to approximate position 40 38 25.09N 074 09 00.00W

• lighted buoy 16 (LLNR 37335) to 3 nm and rename to 18

• lighted buoy 16A (LLNR 37340) to 3 nm and rename to 20

• lighted buoy 17 (LLNR 37345) to 3 nm and rename to 19

• light 18 (LLNR 37360) rename to 22, will remain with conventional lighting

• buoy 19 (LLNR 37365) rename to 21

LONG ISLAND SOUND,

NEW LONDONHARBOR AND VICINITY, CONN.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to this waterway:

• change New London Harbor leading light (LL 21948); light will be lowered back from its temporary fixed position of 44 feet and remounted at 36 feet mean low water and placed into position 41 21 47N, 72 05 14W, located on the southeast bridge abutment of the railroad bridge. Characteristic to remain the same.

LONG ISLAND SOUND, STRATFORD POINT TO SHERWOOD POINT, BRIDGEPORT HARBOR, YELLOW MILL CHANNEL, CONN.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following change to this waterway:

• disestablish Yellow Mill Junction buoy YM (LL 24665)
