REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has updated the following nautical chart:

• chart 12368, 27th ed. — North Shore of Long Island Sound, Sherwood Point to Stamford Harbor.

The new edition is available through NOAA sales agents. A free list of authorized sales agents is available by contacting the National Ocean Service, Distribution Division (N/ACC3), 6501 Lafayette Ave., Riverdale, Md. 20737.

HUDSON RIVER, KINGSTON, N.Y.

Substructure repairs are being conducted at the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. Vessel Shock Wave will be on scene between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. through Oct. 31. (NOAA chart 12347)

HARLEM RIVER, THIRD AVENUE BRIDGE, N.Y. (REVISED)

Removal operations of the old Third Avenue Swing Bridge across the Harlem River at mile 1.9 continues. Work vessels will block one draw of the Third Avenue Bridge until further notice. The other draw will be free of obstructions and be clear for vessel transit. Mariners are advised to follow the signs and exercise caution and reduce wake when transiting the area. HUDSON RIVER, TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE, N.Y. (REVISED)

Perini & Bridge Construction Services will be inspecting and surveying the bridge structure in preparation of vehicle lane replacements on the bridge. Sterling Equipment deck barges with manlifts and Bridge Construction Services work boats will be on scene. Work hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., through Dec. 31. This project will not interfere with vessel transits. (NOAA chart 12343)

SANDY HOOK TO

LITTLE EGG HARBOR,

SHREWSBURY RIVER, N.J.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to aids to navigation in this waterway in August:

• change Shrewsbury River Channel lighted buoy 2 (LL 35740), to be replaced by nun to relieve when endangered by ice;

• change Shrewsbury River Channel lighted buoy 3 (LL 35745) to be replaced by can to relieve when endangered by ice. (NOAA charts 12324, 12325, 12327, 12401)

SANDY HOOK BAY, BELFORD HARBOR AND CHANNEL, N.J.

Caldwell Marine will be conducting maintenance dredging in Belford Harbor and Channel through Dec. 31, during daylight hours. Dredge Clara B and tug Angle C will be on-scene and monitoring VHF channels 13 and 16. The harbor and channel are still open. (NOAA chart 12401)

PENOBSCOT BAY AND

FRENCHMAN BAY, MAINE

The Coast Guard has established transit lanes and recommended routes for deep-draft vessels traveling upon these waters. Mariners are advised to have an updated chart of the area illustrating these lanes, and to monitor VHF channels 13 and 16 for securitee broadcasts from vessels using these routes. All boaters are requested not to impede the safe navigation of commercial deep-draft traffic following these routes. (NOAA charts 13303, 13305, 13318)

EAST RIVER, EAST 90TH STREET FERRY LANDING, N.Y.

Weeks Marine will be installing a ferry landing at East 90th Street through Nov. 15. Weeks W276 crane barge with supply barges will be on scene. Work hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (NOAA chart 12339)
