REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has updated the following nautical charts:

• chart 13229, 30th ed. - South Coast of Cape Cod and Buzzards Bay

The new editions are available through NOAA sales agents. A free list of authorized sales agents is available by contacting the National Ocean Service, Distribution Division (N/ACC3), 6501 Lafayette Ave., Riverdale, Md.20737.

ENTRANCE TO SOUTH BRISTOL HARBOR, MAINE

A fishing vessel has been reported sunk at its mooring in the vicinity of SouthBristolHarbor in position 43 52.040N, 069 33.270W. All mariners are advised to transit with caution.

CASCO BAY, MERRICONEAG SOUND APPROACH, MAINE

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to this waterway:

• change Merriconeag Sound Approach lighted gong buoy 8 (LL 6705) flashing red 4 seconds, nominal range from 4 nm to 3 nm

• change Mackerel Cove lighted buoy 1 (LL 6710) flashing green seconds, nominal range from 4 nm to 3 nm

These changes will use Light Emitting Diode (LED) lantern technology. (NOAA charts 13288, 13290)

IPSWICHBAY TO GLOUCESTERHARBOR, ESSEX BAY, MASS.

The following seasonal aid was not set on station on the advertised light list date of April 15:

• Essex Bay Entrance buoy 3 (LL 9483).

SALEM AND LYNNHARBORS, MARBLEHEAD CHANNEL, MASS.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to this waterway:

• establish Kettlebottom Ledge daybeacon 1 (LL 10455) in approximate position 42 31.1N, 070 50.2W

• disestablish Kettlebottom Ledge buoy 1 (LL 10455)

CASCO BAY, PORTLAND HARBOR APPROACH, MAINE

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following change to this waterway:

• change Portland Harbor Main Approach lighted whistle buoy 4 (LL 7505) nominal range from 5 nm to 4 nm using Carmanah LED technology

(NOAA charts 13006, 13009, 13260, 13286, 13288, 13290, 13292)

PORTSMOUTH TO DOVER AND EXETER, PISCATAQUA RIVER, MAINE and N.H.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to this waterway in April:

• change PiscataquaRiver lighted buoy 7 (LL 8490) flashing green 4 seconds, 5 nm nominal range to 4 nm using LED technology

• change PiscataquaRiver buoy 9 (LL 8500) to PiscataquaRiver lighted buoy 9 (LL 8500) flashing green 4 seconds, 4 nm LED

• change PiscataquaRiver buoy 11 (LL 8510) to PiscataquaRiver lighted buoy 11 (LL 8510) flashing green 2.5 seconds, 4 nm LED

LONG ISLAND SOUND, STRATFORD POINT TO SHERWOOD POINT, BRIDGEPORT HARBOR, YELLOW MILL CHANNEL, CONN.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following change to this waterway:

• disestablish Yellow Mill Junction buoy YM (LL 24665)
