REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has updated the following nautical charts:

• chart 13227, 14th ed. — Fall River Harbor, State Pier;

• chart 12325, 3rd ed. — Navesink And Shrewsbury Rivers.

The new editions are available through NOAA sales agents. A free list of authorized sales agents is available by contacting the National Ocean Service, Distribution Division (N/ACC3), 6501 Lafayette Ave., Riverdale, Md. 20737.

The following aid has not been seasonally relieved:

LUBEC CHANNEL, MAINE

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following change to aids to navigation in April:

• change Lubec Channel buoy 7 (LL 885) to Lubec Channel buoy 8 (LL 885) and relocate to approximate position 44 51 59.0N, 066 58 51.9W. (NOAA charts 13394, 13396)

ISLAND END RIVER, MASS.

(REVISED)

Sheetpiling installation for the Bulkhead Wall is being conducted by Sevevson Environmental Services in the Island End River (west of the Federal Channel). The work will be completed around June 30. The hours of operation will be 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. On scene will be Spud Barge 1 BARGE 1 which will be monitoring VHF channel 16. The sheetpiling area will be surrounded by an orange silt curtain and flashing lights at night. After the completion of this work, dredging will be done until about Nov. 1, 2006. Mariners are requested to proceed with caution while transiting the area.

PLYMOUTH, KINGSTON AND DUXBURY HARBORS,

GREEN HARBOR, MASS.

An obstruction has been reported in the Narrows of the entrance to Green Harbor. The obstruction is reported to be 2 feet below the surface at low water. Mariners are advised to use caution while transiting the area. (NOAA chart 12353)

GREAT ISLAND, R.I.

On or about May 5, Great Island Channel buoy 5 (LL 19545) was scheduled to be relocated to approximate position 41 23 04.0N, 071 30 30.0N.

PORTLAND HARBOR, MAINE

An obstruction has been reported in General Anchorage Alpha, in position 043 40.1N, 070 13.2W, with a sounding of 18.3 feet at mean lower low water. All mariners are urged to use caution while anchoring in this area.

WOODS HOLE, MASS.

Coast Guard Group Woods Hole has changed names to Coast Guard Sector Southern New England. Mariners wishing to contact Coast Guard Group Woods Hole should make hail outs to Coast Guard Sector Southern New England.

JAMAICA BAY, N.Y.

Dredging will be done at Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, until July 30. On scene will be dredge Shinnecock which will be monitoring VHF channel 16. There will be a subline pipe crossing the Island Channel. The hours of operation will be seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
