REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have updated the following nautical charts:

• chart 13221, 56th ed. — Narragansett Bay;

• chart 13302, 22nd ed. — Penobscot Bay and Approaches;

• chart 13270, 62nd ed. — Boston Harbor.

The new editions are available through NOAA sales agents. A free list of authorized sales agents is available by contacting the National Ocean Service, Distribution Division (N/ACC3), 6501 Lafayette Ave., Riverdale, Md. 20737.

PENOBSCOT BAY AND

FRENCHMAN BAY, ME.

The Coast Guard has established transit lanes and recommended routes for deep-draft vessels traveling upon these waters. Mariners are advised to have an updated chart of the area illustrating these lanes, and to monitor VHF channels 13 and 16 for securitee broadcasts from vessels using these routes. All boaters are requested not to impede the safe navigation of commercial deep-draft traffic following these routes. (NOAA charts 13303, 13305, 13318)

BOSTON HARBOR

MAIN CHANNEL, MASS.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following change to aids to navigation in July:

• change Boston Main Channel lighted buoy 4 (LL 10885) nominal range to three NM. (NOAA charts 13267, 13270)

NANTUCKET SOUND AND

APPROACHES, GREAT ROUND SHOAL CHANNEL, MASS.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following change to aids to navigation in July:

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted buoy 2 (LL 113586) nominal range from four NM to three NM;

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted buoy 3 (LL 13590) nominal range from four NM to three NM;

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted buoy 4 (LL 13595) nominal range from four NM to three NM;

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted buoy 5 (LL 13600) nominal range from four NM to three NM;

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted buoy 6 (LL 13605) nominal range from four NM to three NM;

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted buoy 7 (LL 13610) nominal range from four NM to three NM;

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted buoy 8 (LL 13615) nominal range from four NM to three NM;

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted buoy 10 (LL 13620) nominal range from four NM to three NM;

• change Great Round Shoal Channel lighted bell buoy 13 (LL 13640) Nominal Range four NM to three NM.
