REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has updated the following nautical charts:

• chart 13223, 39th ed. — Narragansett Bay, including NewportHarbor;

• chart 13238, 16th ed. — Martha's Vineyard Eastern Part, OakBluffsHarbor, VineyardHavenHarbor, EdgartownHarbor.

NEWBURYPORTHARBOR

AND PLUM ISLAND SOUND,

MERRIMACK RIVER, MASS.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to this waterway in October:

• change Merrimack River North Jetty light 4 (LL 9006) to flashing red 2.5 seconds using a light emitting diode (LED) lantern. (NOAA charts 13274, 13278, 13282)

BOSTON HARBOR, MASS.

Drilling, blasting and dredging operations are being done in BostonHarbor and the North Ship Channel until further notice. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution in the area. Locations will include, 42 20 19.14N, 70 58 46.5W, east-southeast of CastleIsland, 42 20

23.92N, 70 20 46.94W, President Roads Anchorage, 42 21 15.80N, 70 55 51.95W, North Channel, and 42 22 03.70N, 70 55 18.83W, North Channel. Mariners are further advised to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made. Diving operations will be ongoing and appropriate signals will be shown. Security zones will be established during blasting operations. Vessels involved will be drill barge Alex and the dredge Jonathan. The barges will be spudded down during good weather and will use anchor. VHF channels 13 and 16 will be monitored.

FRENCHMAN AND BLUEHILLBAYS AND APPROACHES, FRENCHMAN BAY, MAINE

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following change to this waterway in September:

• change Egg Rock bell buoy 4 (LL 1850) to Egg Rock lighted buoy 4 (LL 1850) flashing red 2.5 seconds. (NOAA charts 13312, 13318)

MASSACHUSETTS BAY,

NEW INLET, MASS.

Shoaling has been reported in New Inlet from North River Junction buoy NR (LL 12355) to New Inlet buoy 12 (LL 12400). Depths of 2 feet or less at mean low water may be found. New Inlet buoys 10 and 12 have been reported aground and laying over, with the mooring exposed at low water. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution while transiting this waterway.
