REVISED NAUTICAL CHARTS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has updated the following nautical charts:

• chart 13209, 25th ed. — Block Island Sound and GardinersBay, MontaukHarbor.

EAST RIVER, N.Y.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following change in June:

• East River Main Channel lighted buoy 18 (LL 27335) to 3 nautical miles.

EAST RIVER, N.Y. (REVISED)

Spearin Preston & Burrows Inc. will be installing riverbed marine fill at the Montague Street MTA tunnel located in the East River, southwest of Pier 3 Brooklyn, on the East RiverDeepwaterLightedRange. Work hours are 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, through Aug. 17. The crane barge will be anchored with a four-point anchoring system attached to four buoys. All four mooring buoys will be illuminated at night with a quick-flashing, all-around white light visible for at least three nautical miles. The approximate positions of the mooring buoys are: 40 41 54.55-N, 074 00 09.48-W; 40 41 48.81N, 074 00 13.83W; 40 41 46.11N, 074 00 08.12W; and 40 41 52.21N, 074 00 03.12W. During nonworking hours, the unmanned construction platform will remain on site and be illuminated with an all-around white light visible for at least one mile on its outboard corners. Mariners are advised to transit the area with caution and proceed at No Wake/Minimum Speed when passing. (NOAA chart 12335)

AMBROSE CHANNEL, N.Y.

Dredging is being done in Ambrose channel through Sept. 15. The hours of operation are seven days a week, 24 hours a day. A mooring barge will be installed at the end of the west cut between Military Ocean Terminal and Global Marine Terminal directly east of the USCG station. A submerged pipeline will be installed southwest over the dike to the rehandling area at MOTBY. Work will be done between these areas. On scene will be hopper dredge Liberty Island, survey vessel WolfRiver, launch St. Johns River, tug Sea Bear, derrick Weeks 508 or Weeks 534 and the spud barge Hughes 990. Mariners are requested to proceed with extreme caution while transiting the area.

JERSEY CITY, N.J.

Bulkhead and pier rehabilitation work is being done in Jersey City (Exchange Place) until Jan. 30, 2008. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. On scene is a barge and crane. Mariners are advised to proceed with caution when transiting the area. (NOAA chart 12335)

GULF OF MAINE,

BIGELOW BIGHT, MAINE

The Coast Guard has verified the position of a submerged fishing vessel in position 43 20.67N, 069 56.88W, in approximately 500 feet of water.

WEST QUODDY HEAD

TO CALAIS, MAINE

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to aids to navigation in May:

• relocate Buckman Ledge buoy 2 (LL 915), 100 yards west to approximate position 44 53.69N, 066 59.09W, (the 10-meter contour);

• relocate CobscookBay buoy 5 (LL 1005), 250 yards east-southeast to approximate position 44 53.99N, 067 01.85W. (NOAA charts 13394, 13396)

BUZZARDS BAY,

CUTTYHUNK ISLAND, MASS.

On or about June 1, Jay Cashman Inc. and affiliate company Patriot Renewables LLC (PATRIOT) was scheduled to site a meteorological observation barge north of CuttyhunkIsland within Buzzards Bay. This project work area will be located on the following schedule: July 1 - Oct. 1, 41 30.36N, 070 47.4W; and Oct. 1 - Dec. 31, 41 28.39N, 070 49.21W.

PLYMOUTH, KINGSTON AND DUXBURYHARBORS, PLYMOUTH HARBOR, MASS.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes to this waterway in June:

• change PlymouthHarbor channel buoy 8 (LL 12905) to Nummet channel buoy NC (LL 12905 primary) and (LL 12744 secondary), red and green nun, and relocate to approximate position 41 59 04.32N, 070 39 19.98W. (NOAA chart 13253)

PLYMOUTH, KINGSTON AND DUXBURYHARBORS, THE NUMMET CHANNEL, MASS.

The Coast Guard was scheduled to make the following changes in June:

• change Nummet channel buoy 6 (LL 12755) to Nummet channel buoy 8 (LL 12764);

• establish Nummet channel buoy 6 (LL 12755), red nun in approximate position 41 59 22.980N, 070 40 16.860W.
