Man dies in Cape Cod boating mishap

A man died last Friday in waters off Race Point Light in Cape Cod after the 20-foot pleasure boat he and two companions were in took on water, dumping all three into the sea.

His two companions, both of whom were wearing life jackets, were hypothermic but stable when Coast Guard rescuers arrived. They were supporting the third man, who was unconscious and not wearing a life jacket, said Coast Guard Petty Officer Jason Natti, rescue commander in Provincetown.
