The Storm Surge Anchor System from Taylor Made Products links multiple mooring anchors and lines to a moored boat, which the company says offers more strength and stability in extreme conditions. Minimum breaking strength is more than 32,000 foot pounds, and safe working load is 8,000 foot pounds, according to Taylor Made. The system is hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection and can be ordered with standard eyebolt shackles or safety shackles that use nuts and cotter pins.
