Mustang Survival’s Ocean Class Xtreme foul weather racing gear

incorporates the company’s patent-

pending Life-saving Integrated Flotation Technology — or LIFT — PFD system.

The Coast Guard-approved jacket with auto-inflating LIFT PFD elevates the

wearer higher out of the water than

most PFDs, according to Mustang. The breathable OCX pants and jacket are available in red/gray or yellow/black,

in sizes from small to extra large. Retail price of the set is around $1,095.

Trailer manufacturer EZ Loader is now offering oil bath hubs on nearly all of its models. Owners can visually check the level and color of the oil in the hub — and for the presence of water — rather than manually checking and greasing the bearings. The user-friendly hubs have a plug for adding oil whennecessary, and LED lighting has been added to many models, according to the company. EZ Loader offers 250 trailers for boats from 12 feet to 36 feet, ranging in price from $650 to about $10,000. EZ LoaderBoat Trailers, Spokane, Wash. Phone: (509) 489-0181.

Interlux has introduced new bonding and fairing powders for use with its Epiglass epoxy resin system. Epiglass HT120 High Strength Glue Powder and HT450 Light Weight Filler Powder take the place of as many as four to six different powders that other epoxy resin systems might require, according to Interlux. Suggested retail prices (per quart) are $11.99 for HT120 and $14.99 for HT450. Interlux Yacht Finishes, Union, N.J. Phone: (908) 686-1300.

Charles Marine Group’s SP series electronic

battery chargers have a selector switch that allows users to charge traditional flooded wet cell, gel cell

or absorbent glass mat batteries. The units can

charge up to three battery banks simultaneously

on any size sail- or powerboat, and can be used

as a power source, according to the company.

The 2000 SP series is the entry-level charger and is available in 120-VAC 50/60-Hz models for 12-volt

output. The 5000 SP series is available in 120- and

220-VAC 50/60-Hz models for 12- and 24-volt output. Pricing varies depending on amperage. List prices

for the 2000 SP range from $315 (10-amp) to $761

(50-amp), while prices for the 5000 SP range from

$351 (10-amp) to $1,549 (80-amp). Charles Industries, Rolling Meadows, Ill. Phone: (847) 806-6300.

Lewmar says its new traveller system combines the reliable features of its Ocean Traveller Range with the performance of racing products. The New Traveller Range of cars and end stops is available in sizes for boats up to 36 feet and 8-mm control lines, and for boats up to 49 feet and 10-mm control lines. The sheaves in all the blocks in the mainsheet cars, genoa cars and end stops use Lewmar’s free-spinning bearing. The range is interchangeable, allowing for a combination of cars, end stops, blocks and accessories to be used with Lewmar’s existing track, according to the company. Call for pricing.
