New guide book on Great Circle route

Waterway Guide, a venerable resource for cruising boaters, will release this year a new Great Circle book, covering waters from the Hudson River through the New York Canals, to the Great Lakes and down to the Gulf of Mexico.

“The new Great Circle guide will provide our boaters with the necessary tools to navigate inland waterways from New York’s Hudson River all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico,” said Waterway Guide owner and publisher Jack Dozier. “[There is] intensive coverage of proper navigational routes, marinas along the way and shoreside attractions.”

Updated annually by a staff of more than 20 cruising field editors, Waterway Guide contains aerial photographs of major waterways, and a colorful spiral-bound format. With more than 1 million copies in circulation, Waterway Guide has been published since 1947.
