Hatteras owners meet in Cambridge, Md.

The Hatteras 1510 Club will be holding its annual owners rendezvous Sept. 9-12 at the Cambridge Yacht Club on the Choptank River in Cambridge, Md.
The Hatteras 1510 Club was formed in 2000 by a handful of owners of these classic vessels, which are either 50, 53 or 58 feet long and have a beam of 15 feet, 10 inches - hence the club's name. Through the years, the club has grown from this handful of enthusiasts from the Chesapeake to a worldwide membership.
You don't have to own a Hatteras Yacht with a 1510 beam to be a member.
Highlights of the rendezvous will include a day trip to St. Michaels, presentations by sponsors, restoration and maintenance tips and an open house of the yachts.
Non-members are encouraged to attend the free yacht open house from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at the docks. Members and non-members are invited to attend the entire rendezvous at a cost of $125 per person. For information, visit
