The Norwalk (Conn.) Boat Show will inspire waves of nostalgia among boating enthusiasts and history buffs this year with its special-edition 'History of Boating in America' exhibit.
This attraction will feature museum-quality classic and antique boats from private collectors and classic boat manufacturers, plus insight and commentary from World War II PT boat historians and noted restoration professionals.
The in-water boat show will run Thursday through Sunday at the Norwalk Cove Marina in Norwalk, Conn.
Highlights of the exhibits include an original Elco electric launch boat from 1899, World War II PT replicas, a rare collectible mahogany triple-cockpit runabout and other classic boats.
You also will have the opportunity to see museum-quality boat restoration in action as experts continue their work to restore the 32-foot 1899 Elco Electric Launch Wenona on site at the show.
