Odd collection rescued from yacht
Rescue crews in Berkeley, Calif., responded Friday afternoon to a yacht carrying seven people, a dog, a cat — and a snake — that was taking on water in the San Francisco Bay, a local fire captain told KTVU News.
Officials did not identify the seven people on board nor did they give the name of the yacht. The 32- to 40-foot yacht was about 300 feet north of the Berkeley Pier when water began enter the vessel.
