One dead, two rescued after inlet capsize

Rescue crews found the body of a man early Tuesday morning after the boat he was on capsized in Hillsboro Inlet in Pompano Beach, Fla.

The 36-year-old was on a fishing trip with his 9-year-old son and his friend when their 15-foot boat capsized late Monday evening, according to the state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Rescue crews were able to pull out from the water the son and friend, but the victim was not wearing a life jacket. Rescue crews spotted him drifting in the water near the Hillsboro Inlet Bridge.
