Sailors rescued offshore in winter storm

On the 20th anniversary of the 1991 nor'easter that became known as the "Perfect Storm," the Coast Guard Sunday rescued two Canadian sailors stranded several miles from Provincetown Harbor.

The sailors called the Coast Guard, reporting their engine was failing and they would need a tow into port. The engine did fail, leaving the sailors in 12 to 15-foot seas with occasional 20-foot swells and no power more than seven miles south of Provincetown Harbor.
