Sea Vee to Launch the 400Z Center Console
Florida-based builder Sea Vee Boats has put the 400Z center console into production. The 400Z features a stepped hull and incorporates Speed Rails™ to keep the boat on track when cruising.
Following the design of the Sea Vee 390 Series Console, the 400Z is 6 inches wider with a raised helm pod that can be finished in carbon fiber or teak. She will have 18 rod holders and the helm dash can fit up to two 24-inch multi-function displays.
The 400Z offers lots of upgrades for anglers. The Captain’s Edition Helm Seat and Tackle Center includes a set of three captain’s chairs, and a complete aft-facing tackle station. Other upgrades include a removable transom bench seat, a rear-facing molded cooler seat and an optional second row of seating. Owners can also choose between a standard or oversized hardtop in a variety of finishes.
The aft cockpit will have twin port and starboard 40-gallon corner live wells as well as twin 100-gallon insulated in-deck fish boxes. There will also be a 40-inch by 36-inch center line storage compartment for a SeaKeeper stabilizing system or an optional in-deck live well. To port is a swinging hull side door and dive ladder.
At the bow there will be an insulated 161-gallon fish box to store catch, with an optional coffin box upgrade. Immediately aft of this box will be a 71-gallon dry storage compartment.
Below decks the 400Z will feature a console sink, shower and toilet. A satellite television, Starlink internet and a premium sound system are all standard. Upgrades are available for port and starboard bow loungers with storage space.
The 400Z can be rigged with triple or quad outboard engines of varying horsepower. Owners can opt for bow thrusters and joystick control for steering.
