Seamanship school upgrades Web site

Mariners School, a United States Coast Guard-approved training facility with locations throughout the Northeast, from Maryland to Rhode Island, has revamped its Web site.

In addition to updated graphics and easier navigation, the Web site features FAQs for instant answers to the most commonly asked questions about USCG-approved courses. The site also offers a listing of current courses as well as comprehensive information on how to become a licensed boat captain.

Visitors to the site can find information on OUPV (Captain’s) License courses and Masters Upgrade courses, as well as other license and recreational classes including Assistance Towing Endorsement, and Adult CPR and First Aid. Visitors can also view updated class schedules and register for classes.
