Erica Blizzard described driving into a "black hole of fog" and how she thought she had maintained a safe course in the moments before crashing her boat into Diamond Island and killing one of her passengers in a June 2008 boating accident on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Blizzard, 37, took the stand in her own defense Monday afternoon on the final day of her trial for alternate counts of negligent homicide and aggravated driving while intoxicated charge in connection with the accident that caused the death of 34-year-old Stephanie Beaudoin of Meredith.
