Soundings expanded its digital offerings by launching a mobile site.

The new site at mobile.soundingsonline.com joins the Soundings iPad and iPhone apps, as well as the e-newsletter Soundings Dispatches, as complements to the venerable magazine's growing community.
"This launch continues Soundings' delivery of its content through all forms of online and print media, consistent with the practices of our readership," advertising director Tiger Marion said in a statement. "This mobile site is the latest piece of our 360-degree media strategy to give our readers information any way they want it and it provides marine industry marketers with the platform to reach them as they are making their buying decisions."
In addition, the new Soundings mobile site has banner ad positions uniquely configured for mobile device delivery and offers full ad tracking and site statistics on all relevant metrics.
