Travis Kam was about to call it a day. He text-messaged a friend at about 11:30 Monday morning saying the fish weren't biting and he was coming back to shore. Right after sending the message, he caught the fish of his life a 130-pound ahi. But the fish wouldn't be reeled in easily. Eventually, the fish and the high surf flipped his boat. The fight for the ahi was over; now he had to fight for his own survival.
