The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation unveiled its Take Me Fishing campaign's new fully integrated mobile website this week and showcase additional digital tools the organization developed in the last year.
Mobile site users now will have on-the-go access to the TakeMeFishing.org Hotspots Map and be able to save their own mobile hot spots. Users also will find information about species of fish, boating and fishing tips and tricks, and state licensing and registration requirements.
"With more and more people using smart phones and downloading information on the go these days, we knew we had to invest even more into our digital offerings," RBFF president and CEO Frank Peterson said in a statement. "We're proud to be able to provide instant access to the best boating and fishing 'where to' and 'how to' information right in the palms of our visitors' hands."
The Take Me Fishing center exhibit at the Miami International Boat Show and Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo, both happening this week, will set the stage for the official unveiling and first user experience demos, the foundation said.
