Talented tinkerer builds himself a 52-foot boat

As a kid, Gil Devenport loved to build model toys. Decades later, he's doing the same thing, only on a much larger scale. He has spent the last seven years building a boat that is 52 feet long and weighs 40 tons. The 65-year-old built his rugged bluewater cruiser by himself and he hopes to someday voyage solo to Antarctica.
