Yacht charter company The Moorings is adding the Palma, Mallorca region of Spain to its list of destinations.
Located in the Balearic Sea, Mallorca is known for picturesque beaches and quaint villages. From diving spots to waterside restaurants, fresh-caught cuisine and historic tours, Mallorca makes the most of its secluded island setting, the company said.
The Moorings’ newest midsize power catamaran, The Moorings 434PC, is available for charters from Palma, beginning May 28.
Charters begin at the Marina Naviera Balear in Palma’s Port de Mallorca. Guests are free to follow The Moorings’ suggested itinerary or venture to nearby islands, such as Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera.
Itinerary highlights include Porto Cristo, a seaside town famed for its massive underground caves, one of which you can walk through and even watch a group of classical musicians performing inside.
Cabrerea Island and National Park is an uninhabited landmass where one can often see such things as dolphins and coral formations.
“Mallorca blends the best of Spanish culture with a lively island atmosphere,” The Moorings general manager Josie Tucci said in a statement. “From the colossal cliffs to the stunning beaches and quiet harbors, it’s easy to fall in love with this place, and even easier with the speed and comfort of a Moorings poweryacht.”
