Thieves broke into 18 vessels docked at a Georgetown, Md., marina May 20 and stole numerous television sets, according to the Maryland Natural Resources Police. The vessels were docked at the Skip Jack Cove Marina, located on the Sassafras River. The robbery took place between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.
The Natural Resources Police reminds boat owners to hide all valuables aboard the vessel, lock the vessel and remove all keys before leaving the marina. Report all suspicious activity to marina security or nearest law enforcement.
