Three rescued after 24-foot boat capsizes
Three men were treated for possible mild hypothermia late Saturday after they clung to the side of a capsized boat off Saugatuck, Mich., as a Coast Guard crew sped to the scene.
The men used the 24-foot boat's VHF radio to call in a distress call at 8:43 p.m., giving their location to Coast Guard responders. They were found more than three miles off shore, northwest of the Saugatuck pier. Two were wearing life vests.
