Cruisers preparing for their first long-range sail can turn to a veteran cruising couple for advice on provisioning.
Carolyn Shearlock offers a way of checking that you don't forget anything
From 2002-2008, Carolyn and her husband Dave lived aboard their Tayana 37, Que Tal, and cruised the Pacific side of Mexico and Central America. During that time, she not only learned a lot, she started passing it on to others.
They even started a website, The Boat Galley, to impart what they learned about outfitting the boat, cooking techniques and tips, problem solving, storage and, naturally, recipes.
