A group of tourists got a firsthand look at the San Francisco Bay's food chain in action as they witnessed a hungry Great White shark devour a seal by Alcatraz Island.
In a video recorded by Meredith Coppolo Shindler, the shark's feeding frenzy left a pool of seal blood seeping into the ocean as amazed tourists watched on from the Alcatraz dock. She wrote in the caption, "guess we know what happened to the few escapees."
"It's Jaws!" a kid said in the cellphone video, recorded around noon on Saturday. "That's the best thing I've ever seen in my life!"
