Toy boats show gives 'glimpse into bygone era'

Before the advent of video games and remote control cars, the "It" toy of the 19th century was the toy boat. Now some of the finest miniature boats, built during the height of their popularity, are on display at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, England, giving the public "a glimpse into a bygone era."

Ships on display date from 1850 to 1950 and include the infamous battleship HMS Terrible, the RMS Queen Mary and Kaiser Wilhelm II's yacht the Hohenzollern.
