Cunard's new Queen Elizabeth, on her inaugural tour of North America and first visit to New York, will depart Jan. 13 from New York Harbor with her sister ships Queen Victoria and Queen Mary.
The National Maritime Historical Society is hosting a cruise aboard the elegant and spacious World Yacht Duchess as they cruise out with the ships. The National Maritime Historical Society will have on hand speakers, information, stories about the Queens, including their role during wartime, and a lavish buffet and open bar.
The cruise out on the Hudson River with the three ships will also feature a fireworks display launching from the Statue of Liberty at 6:45 p.m.
Tickets are $160 for the early-bird price and includes buffet and open bar aboard Duchess. Boarding time starts at 4:30 p.m. and the Duchess departs at 5:30 p.m. from the World Yacht Marina, Per 81, West 41st Street on the Hudson River (at 12th Avenue), New York, NY 10036.
