Survival suits helped keep two fishermen alive as they waited five hours for rescue in the 52-degree waters of Cape Cod Bay.

The 39- and 18-year-old were commercial fishermen on the 36-foot scallop boat Carol and Allison, according to an article on BostonHerald.com. Wednesday afternoon they sent a mayday to a nearby tug boat saying their vessel was taking on water then called the Coast Guard by cell phone around 3:20 p.m. The boat sank at about 4:15 p.m.
