Two boaters were hospitalized after being rescued Sunday from a sinking 27-foot powerboat in Britain’s Humber River.
"As crews arrived on scene they found the Sea Eagle to have a significant hole in her hull caused by a collision with the buoy. A number of boats also went to assist the sinking cruiser,” a spokesman for the British coast guard told The Guardian newspaper.
"This was certainly a lifesaving job for us,” Coxswain Ian Bennett said. “There was no doubt that we had to get on scene as a matter of urgency for those involved.”
