Video captures pier collapse and boat damage

Several boats were damaged and one person suffered a broken leg when a major section of the Eastport, Maine, pier collapsed.

The collapse of the breakwater in the inner harbor was reported shortly after 2 a.m. on Thursday, the Coast Guard said.

The injured man was caretaker aboard a 77-foot schooner, which lost its mast in the collapse.

A fishing boat was damaged and the Eastport pilot boat sank. An unattended pickup truck also slid into the water.
