Vincent Grison is preparing for the solo Mini Transat race, which takes sailors across the Atlantic in beamy 21-foot sailboats.
But even while training for the Sept. 19 start, there’s time for a little fun, such as this maneuver in which Grison heels his boat so he can “keel walk.”
He a good sailor, but he might have lost some points on the dive.
Eight-four competitors will be heading to the start of the Mini Transat, which runs on odd-numbered years. The race sets off from Douarnenez in northwest Brittany and ends in Guadeloupe, with a stopover in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands.
