With winter finally and mercifully releasing its grip in the Midwest and Northeast, here’s one more look at the conditions that preceded the thaw.
Clayton Will is a really handy guy who lives in Badger, Iowa. He loves to fish and mess about with parts to come up with innovative new products.
One of his projects this winter was an “ice sled” that he cobbled together from an aluminum jonboat and welded-on sled rails. Will powers it with an old gas outboard; a large saw blade serves as his prop.
It’s proof that you can still buzz around your favorite lake, even if it’s frozen.
