A 43-foot Hinckley worth more than $1 million got stuck in a snowbank and tied up traffic Wednesday in Boston as it was being delivered to the Progressive New England Boat Show.
The brand-new Maggie Mae was set to be featured at the Feb. 14-22 show at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. But on Wednesday the boat got stuck in the thick of downtown traffic.
Pictures of the stranded boat flooded social media.
The recent record-setting snowfall has narrowed city streets and created monstrous snowbanks in Boston. Although it might not be an ideal time to be hauling a 43-foot yacht through the city, the boat had to make it to the convention center in a timely manner.
