Whaling protesters launch new monster boat
The Australian-based anti-whaling group called Sea Shepherd launched a new vessel in time for its annual interference of Japanese whalers in Antarctica.
Named Gojira, Japanese for Godzilla, the trimaran is twice as long at the 78-foot Ady Gil that sank when it collided with a whale ship during last season's hunt.
Gojira is faster than any of the whaling ships and is expected to scout for the fleet ahead of its other two monohull ships.
