Yacht crew rescued twice in matter of days

British environmental police reported how two sailors, thought to be a father and daughter, had alerted the coastguard after getting into difficulties within sight of the leading buoy to Wells Harbour on England’s east coast.

The crew were travelling on a 27-foot yacht when they got into difficulties at around 7 p.m. on Monday night.

Both Hunstanton and Wells lifeboat crews assisted the pair, and a crew helped relaunch their vessel in the early hours of Tuesday.

Rescuers later said that the same 27-foot sailboat had asked for assistance from a lifeboat just a few days earlier.
