Having a Whale of a Time. Literally.

It is said, curiosity killed the cat. In this case, curiosity smashed a boat window.

A humpback whale was trying to get a better look at a motorboat and its occupant off the coast of British Columbia by using a method humans call “head viewing” when the animal miscalculated a bit and accidentally bashed a window.

The window was made of safety glass and did not shatter, but it gave the boat’s operator, the director of a Canadian nonprofit organization that works to protect whales and other creatures, momentary pause.

You can read more about it on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s website.
